It’s going to either be 15 songs that should have been taken care of better or less songs probably. Listening to Portishead and feeling a little down of course. The song Rodeo came together today which was great. verse. verse. verse. chorus kind of thing. verse. chorus kind of thing. I think it’s finished structure wise and the style of the album is going to be very trying my best throughout and I think it meets that standard! I’m going to play with reverb and maybe add some piano?
It’s been fun finding sounds and stuff in Cubase. I want to name my first child Cubase.
The songs are currently in a set of phases that will result in being on Spotify hopefully or bandcamp. The rodeo song has a lyric about being in your city soon which is meant to inspire me into being in people’s city’s soon. I am still pretty paranoid though about who might think songs are about them. The whole act of writing songs has put me in many paranoid
Speaking of which, I want to do a cover of the album Ok Computer by Radiohead and call it Ok Carlputer because my name is Carl. So you’ll see in the image below that paranoIDANDROID23 would go in the folder 4 for example.
My cover of Stevie Wonder’s Higher Ground is great in my head when I’m playing guitar and singing it, but I worry about it’s overall chances on a global scale.
I’ve learned a lot about how to use Cubase since getting Cubase last month! It’s a trial version and the album can only be what I make before the trial expires. Just like a corpse flower!
You can make the wav files louder by using the pencil on it. I don’t know who needs to know this, but I did the other day. And it changed everything!
saw the movie Sentimental Value today. Great movie! My favorite films of the year are unless I forget one entirely which is possible:

- I lost enthusiasm for making a list of movies I liked this year but Sorry, Baby is on HBO Max if you have that. Best movie, better than these movies. One Battle After Another oh fine I’ll go back to making the list.
